How do I create a Carelancer Account?
Click “Sign Up” on the Carelancer website and follow the onboarding process to set up your account.
What information is required to complete my profile?
To complete your profile, provide your name, address, phone number, and email. You’ll also need to include your medical history, such as conditions, allergies, medications, and special care needs. Finally, add payment details, like a credit or debit card, to book services.
How do I create a family account?
To create a Family Account, start by setting up your own profile. Once your profile is complete, you’ll have the option to create additional profiles for your child or loved one. For loved ones, emailed consent or a Power of Attorney will be required.
Can multiple family members manage care for the same seeker?

Multiple family members can manage minors care or loved ones with a power of attorney in place. Each family member will need to create their own account and additional family profiles to be able to manage this create

Currently, for accounts with consent via email, only one family member can manage the care. The Carelancer platform only allows an email address to only be tied to one account.

Who can approve bookings in a family account?
The primary account holder (care coordinator) can set up job posts and confirm bookings within the app. If the individual who has consent created their own profile, they can also approve bookings for their own care.
Why is consent sent to another person?
Consent is sent to ensure all parties involved in care management approve the arrangements and permissions.
How long does the consent process take?

Once you send a consent request, the recipient will receive an email notification where they can accept, decline, or create their own account.

If they don’t respond within 7 days, the link will expire, and you’ll need to resend the request. Carelancer will notify you as soon as they take action.

Are care providers on Carelancer verified?
Yes, all care providers go through a thorough verification process, including background checks and certification validation, and insurance to ensure they provide trustworthy and high-quality care.
What qualifications and certifications do care providers have?
Care providers may hold nursing licenses, PSW/HCA certifications, or relevant college credentials. Our team verifies these to ensure they meet professional standards.
Are care providers background-checked?
Yes, all care providers complete annual background checks.
