This policy defines the scope of practice for Care Providers on the Carelancer platform, ensuring that all Care Providers deliver care within their qualifications, training, and legal authorization.

Policy Statement
All Care Providers on the Carelancer platform are required to adhere to the scope of practice defined by their respective professional or state/provincial governing bodies, licenses, and certifications. Delivering care outside their scope of practice or abilities is strictly prohibited to ensure the safety, quality, and integrity of services provided to Care Seekers.

Key Guidelines
Adherence to Professional Standards
Care Providers must comply with the scope of practice outlined by their regulatory body, including but not limited to:
· Tasks they are trained, licensed, or certified to perform.
· Services legally permitted under applicable laws and regulations.
Platform-Specific Compliance
In addition to professional standards, Care Providers must comply with the guidelines and policies set forth by Carelancer, including any limitations or restrictions specific to the platform.
Prohibited Practices
Care Providers are strictly prohibited from:
· Performing services they are not licensed or certified to provide.
· Engaging in activities that pose a risk to client safety or fall outside their expertise.
Verification of Qualifications
Care Providers must submit valid documentation of their qualifications during the onboarding process, including:
· Licenses or certifications.
· Proof of training specific to their scope of practice.

Non-Compliance
Engaging in activities outside the approved scope of practice may, at Carelancer’s sole discretion, result in :
· Immediate suspension of the provider’s account.
· Potential removal from the platform following an investigation.
· Reporting to the appropriate regulatory body, if required.

Client Responsibility
Clients are encouraged to verify the qualifications of Care Providers on the platform and communicate their care needs clearly, prior to receiving any Assistance Services. The Carelancer platform does not permit Care Providers to offer services beyond their verified qualifications.

This policy is reviewed annually to ensure it aligns with current laws and continues to enhance service quality and safety on the platform.
